Amy, Amy, Amy... (and Jean-Paul Gaultier)

SHE is the icon who's death last year left music lovers in mourning, but Amy Winehouse will also be remembered by many for her signature beehive and 1950's inspired style.
Her unique style divided tastes but this week, fashion great Jean-Paul Gaultier paid tribute to the star unveiling a couture collection inspired by the diva herself.
Models all sported the back-combed beehive, lashings of liner and beauty spot to flaunt Gaultier's collection of nipped in waists, pencil skirts and flirty frills.

Some of these designs are reminiscent of the Back to Black singer's style but some I think may be too over the top for Amy to have worn...but that's couture I suppose.

Controversial male model Andrej Pejic also made an appearance on the catwalk and I have to say looked beautiful...

  1. I really like the fact that her style is being focused on this way. They really have got some of the looks perfect but like you said others are a bit out there for even her to have concidered but overall brilliant.

if you get time swing by my blog :)
