DIY Inspiration

I've come across all creative this season — whether its the prospect of currently buying a new house and thinking of things I could make to put in it, or whether its having no money left after buying a house to buy new clothes with and so reworking what I've got — I seem to have ideas of creative projects brimming in my head.
I have a few projects up my sleeve which I will share in due course, but in the mean time, let me share with you some DIY inspiration to get your creative juices flowing too.

Amy, Amy, Amy... (and Jean-Paul Gaultier)

SHE is the icon who's death last year left music lovers in mourning, but Amy Winehouse will also be remembered by many for her signature beehive and 1950's inspired style.
Her unique style divided tastes but this week, fashion great Jean-Paul Gaultier paid tribute to the star unveiling a couture collection inspired by the diva herself.
Models all sported the back-combed beehive, lashings of liner and beauty spot to flaunt Gaultier's collection of nipped in waists, pencil skirts and flirty frills.

Guilty girl (style) crush...

Please don't judge me I know she's not to everyone's taste but looking through pictures of Amber Rose I am actually loving her style.....

Versace for H&M — yay or nay?

WE all love it when our favourite high street hotspot collaborates with top designers to allow us common folk to experience a touch of the high-life, so I was excited to see what the most recent designs from Donnatella Versace for H&M had in store for us.
Looking through photos of the collection from the show last night, I'm actually in love with all the studs, glitter and fringing that feature in a lot of the garments - not so sure I'm digging the neon jungle print though.....

The designs are available from November 17, I unfortunately do not live anywhere near a flagship store so there will be little chance of me getting my hands on any of these beauts but I will be rushing to a computer to shop online! Visit the H&M website to view the collection in full.

Today is pay day which means.....

a mental shopping list of things I am considering buying!!

which has a lot of on trend items of clothing for decent prices. I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first look on the website the other day. 

As you can see from above, pictures of various members of the Saturday's wearing their clothing pop up every now and then on the website - the Saturday's are quite stylish ladies so it can't be a bad thing!

I'm off to spend, spend, spend...who's with me??
